Our NDIS services
What we deliver under the NDIS
Psychsense is proud to be a registered NDIS provider, registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (Registration ID 4-I3APQ72). We support participants across three areas.
Specialist Behaviour Support
Delivered under the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework, with a person-first approach.
- Functional behaviour assessment
- Behaviour support plans, written to actually be used
- Training and coaching for the people around the person
- Reducing and eliminating restrictive practices
- Progress review and NDIS reporting
Therapeutic Supports
Therapy where it relates to a participant's disability and is funded under their plan.
- Psychological support and therapy
- Counselling for the emotional impact of disability and change
- Building skills, coping, and confidence for daily life
Early Childhood Supports
Early support for young children and their families, built around everyday life.
- Support for young children and their families
- Delivered where children learn and grow: home, kindy, community
- Building the capacity of the people around the child
Who this is for
You don't need a particular diagnosis
You need an NDIS plan with funding under Improved Relationships (Capacity Building) or Improved Daily Living, and a behaviour or challenge that is getting in the way of someone's life. We regularly work with:
- Children and teens whose behaviour has schools, families, or services stuck
- Adults with intellectual disability, autism, or psychosocial disability
- Families who have been to service after service and been made to feel like the problem
- Support teams who want to understand a person better, not just manage them
The process
What working with us looks like
Referral
From you, a family member, a support coordinator, or another provider. No GP referral needed for NDIS services.
Intake
We confirm your plan funding, complete a service agreement, and match you with the right practitioner.
Getting to know the person
Assessment happens where life happens. We come to you.
The plan
Built collaboratively, written in plain language, and workshopped with the people who will use it.
Implementation and review
We stay involved, adjust what is not working, and report on progress.
