Positive Behaviour Support
Positive Behaviour Support is a way of working with individuals to improve their life by providing positive strategies to support the occurrence of challenging behaviours. The NDIS describes behaviour support as highly specialised intensive support to address significantly harmful or persistent behaviours of concern. When providing Behaviour Support, the Psychsense team aim to reduce the use of restrictive practices and we work holistically with a participant and their networks to explore the functions of their behaviour, whilst providing recommendations and strategies to increase the skills of the individual and their network.
Supports include:
Functional Behaviour Assessments
Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
Training and education for support networks
Skills development for participants
