Medicare Referrals

Psychsense accepts referrals under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Our registered psychologist provides individual psychological therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.

For GPs and Referring Practitioners

To refer a patient, please send a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and referral letter to admin@psychsensewa.com. Our practice manager will contact your patient to arrange an appointment. We will send a referral acceptance letter after the first session and a progress report at session 6.

For Clients

Better Access provides Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year. You will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP before your first appointment. Bulk billing is available - please contact us to discuss.
