PDA Partners is a specialised workshop by Psychsense dedicated to understanding and supporting individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). Our neurodiverse-affirming approach focuses on promoting positive relationships and fostering a supportive, respectful environment for those with PDA and their families.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of PDA, including the neurobiological responses of PDA nervous systems. Experience what it feels like to have PDA and practice strategies to support PDA-ers to genuine engagement without forcing compliance.

We all seek connection in different ways and we know that sometimes it can feel like you and your child are speaking different languages.
Our workshop aims to empower parents, caregivers, role models and educators to recognise a child’s needs as they explore their world and develop strategies to genuinely organise their feelings, delight in them, help them feel safe, support their exploration and welcome them meaningfully.

In this vibrant, interactive workshop, participants learn how the body responds to stress and what it actually takes to feel good again. We start with a powerful (and hilarious) lesson on the stress response using our signature twist on the spoons drinking game, and from there, we shake things up!
You’ll explore the four key feel-good chemicals: dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins and discover:
